Expertise on a quite different ro-ro challenge was recently demonstrated in a successful collaboration with fellow MMA member ROSEN during the import of a shipment of 16 premium passenger vehicles from Shanghai to Vitória, Brazil. Intended for a highly specialized market, these vehicles represent some of the most exclusive and technologically advanced automobiles available today, making flawless logistics execution essential.
The project demanded seamless coordination between origin and destination, rigorous documentation management, and carefully planned operational control throughout the entire supply chain. By combining ROSEN’s expertise in China with DIRECT Intercontinental’s in-depth knowledge of the Brazilian market, customs procedures, RoRo operations, and final delivery coordination, the shipment was completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule, highlighting how complementary expertise and close international cooperation create tangible value for customers.
